Information: Vilecore represents my very first editing project, which got started in early May 1999.. My first attempts at making a room turned out to be the start for the first map in Vilecore. In the beginning I had no intentions of creating a full 32 level megawad and I set out making maps with no plan on what I was doing. The only fan made Doom maps I played previously to starting work on Vilecore were those awfull CD compilation wads, except for a tiny few nice maps like Dr Sleep's Crossing Acheron. So basically I started this project to learn how to design levels...

I fixed a few bugs and re-released the wad on April 20 / 2003..... so that is where the 1.0 comes from, although it probably be 1.1 or something..... meh.

Resources: Reviews for Vilecore can be found on Major Rawne Reviews 6/10, and the only other reviews I know of that exist for Vilecore were written by Metabolist (74%) and Doom2Hell (9.3/10) Also theres RjY who runs the anARCHy site who did a partial review. Not bad reviews for a noobic wad.

Feedback: A good one-man megawad. Difficulty (never very high) and quality are a bit uneven, but there is decent gameplay throughout, and many of the maps are pretty cool. Map28 seems especially memorable to me, for some reason. -anonymous. Send feedback to vilecore_megawad.
